BMC Recruitment is delighted to be working with a law firm in Newcastle to assist them in their recruitment for a legal secretary to join them on a permanent basis.
Background
This role is perfect for someone who has existing legal secretary, personal assistant or administration experience and is looking for a new challenge. The role is offers hybrid working ( 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).
Duties & Responsibilities
The role will encompass providing support to solicitors and includes:
Sorting incoming post
Contacting client to progress matters where possible without giving legal advice
Making and diarising appoints including making room bookings
Ensuring that files are being kept up to date and are easily accessible.
Preparation of document bundles
Typing/ Word processing to support the fee earners
Person specification
Fast and accurate typist
Previous secretarial or administration experience
Experience of working in a legal environment would be desirable but is not essential
