You'll have worked within a manufacturing or engineering environment, where the products sold have a technical specification - a textiles background would be perfect.

You must be confident and have the ability to sell to prospective customers.

There may be occasions where you'll attend meetings with your prospects but you'll predominently be office-based.

You will be happy working on site, Monday to Friday.
What you'll be doing

Full account management for current customers; you'll be tasked with networking these businesses in an effort to increase sales.

You will scope out UK-based competitors - what are they doing differently; how can you be better?

You'll reach out to new businesses to obtain new business.

These are price-pressure-products so you'll need to be a good negotiator.

You'll be providing technical, and more often, bespoke quotations and processing the orders at the point of sale.

You will attend strategy meetings and get involved with the planning of new sales and marketing campaigns.

There are no strict KPI's or sales targets.
