The hiring company is tackling the energy crisis by consulting on a wide range of exciting sustainability and renewable projects across the UK. Due to successful project progression and a recent partnership, they are looking to expand their ambitious Urban Development team with new talent.
The hiring company is a client-focused consultancy, providing project management, feasibility assessment and environmental and energy services to a range of sectors, including onshore and offshore renewables, urban development and infrastructure, industrial & manufacturing, and oil & gas (energy transition). Working with our existing team of environmental planning and EIA experts, you will support, manage, and deliver committed projects and contribute to the development of the client’s related offering, commensurate with your grade and experience.

Our current portfolio of projects has a strong onshore renewables focus. We are seeking to continue to grow this offering while expanding our range of property and urban regeneration projects, particularly in London and the South-East of England.
The core focus of this role will be expanding the portfolio of Onshore Renewables and Property and Urban Regeneration projects. Key responsibilities are:

Leading EIA and non-EIA projects.

Financial project management

Business Development

Preparation of scopes of work and costs for input to fee proposals. Drafting and reviewing fee proposals. Financial management of projects.

As the business requires, assisting in the delivery of other related environmental assessments, commensurate with experience and technical understanding.

Contribution to business development appropriate to your grade and experience, including initiating and participating in client meetings, networking events, conferences, and seminars.

Mentoring responsibilities on a project level or in a wider context (as appropriate depending on grade and experience).

Line management responsibility for staff as appropriate.
