Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, including processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Invoicing: Generating and issuing invoices, monitoring receivables, and ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately.
Reconciliation: Performing regular bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Data Management: Maintaining up-to-date and accurate financial records, including updating supplier and customer information.
Reporting: Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports and providing support during audits.
Communication: Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any queries related to accounts payable and invoicing.Key Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in a similar finance assistant role with a focus on accounts payable and invoicing.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with financial software packages (experience with [insert specific software, if any] is desirable).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive and problem-solving attitude.Qualifications:
AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
