Client Overview:
I am working with a well established fixture in the London refurbishment and fit out sector. They are a main contractor who have built a name as one of the ‘go to’ contractors for commercial projects in London. They have a track record of successfully delivering a diverse range of healthcare, retail, leisure and education projects, with jobs ranging in contract value between £1m - £40m.
Document Controller Opportunity:
As a Document Controller you will manage and implement the day-to-day requirements of a project’s document control needs and activities. Below is an overview of the responsibilities this role entails. The extent of these will vary depending on the size and complexity of the project(s) you are assigned to. This is a muitiple job running role and you will typically manage 1-3 Projects. Main project locations are as followed: London Bridge, Westend, Moorgate, Covent Garden & Bond Street and A large proportion of their work is within the commercial office sector with projects encompassing, structural alterations, cut and carve through to a high-end landlord or end user fit outs.

To support the project teams always ensuring that they are up to date with relevant information.

Ensure site set up checklist is completed with the project team.

Set up hard copy site records folders for site office.

Liaise with clients and sub-contractors regarding any queries relating to the information

received and resolve these in a satisfactory and timely manner.

Collate and issue the relevant daily and weekly reports for the project team, on time.

Track and chase outstanding RFIs responses.

Track and chase outstanding Technical Submittals responses.

Log CVIs / CAIs, EAI’s, site instructions received.

Archive project systems data at project Handover.

Take an active role in setting up, implementing, managing, and improving the document management process.

Support monthly cross project Document Control health check assessments.

Snagging - create users on SnagR and demonstrate how to use.

Liaise with line manager to ensure any issues with the document control system are.managed and resolved as quickly as possible.

Chase outstanding O&M uploads.

Production of O&M Manuals as directed.

To work on and maintain Quality management documents, manage information around audits etc.

To assist with the internal H&S audit process.

Act as point of contact for external reprographics and courier provider.

Collate stationary / cleaning products requirements for the project and order from Head Office

Collate PPE and welfare item requirements and order from Safety Signs
