Novax Recruitment is actively seeking an Administration Assistant in Liverpool. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
To provide administrative support to the Revenues Service.
Working in multi-functional teams covering the collection of local taxation, cashiering, customer contact and other debts owed to the organisation.
Take steps to ensure benefit expenditure is safeguarded and fraud is prevented and detected wherever possible. Work co-operatively with investigators, other staff and other organisations.
To effectively use relevant ICT systems and assist in the creation, development and maintenance of records, files and statistical information.
To undertake any other duties and responsibilities within the grade of the post.
The candidate:
Experience working in an administrative capacity is essential
Experience working in a Revenues and Benefits environment is essential
Experience working in a similar capacity for a local authority is desirable
