We are currently recruiting for a Fleet Manager for a market leading business based in the Rochdale area who will manage and maintain the company’s fleet of vehicles whilst ensuring full compliance of appropriate laws and regulations
Candidate Specific

Must have experience in a Fleet Management position

Must have experience in managing vehicles regionally, simultaneously

Must have fleet experience of 40 vehicles plus

Need someone meticulous, organized with solid leadership qualities
Financial and Account Management
-
Maintain accounts ensuring wallets are topped up where necessary at all times (e.g. dartford crossing, congestion charges and M6 toll)

M.I.D (motor insurance database) management
-
Fuel Card management
-
Employee fault damage payback, liaising with HR for payroll processing.

PCN and Speeding fines and payback liaising with HR for repeat issues and payroll purposes
Procurement and Maintenance of Vehicles
-
Liaise with the Commercial Finance Director for sourcing new company vehicles, where necessary in line with P11D values.

Coordinate servicing, MOTs and arrange repairs.

Ensure accurate records are retained.

Arrange and review inspections of vehicles and vehicle equipment ensuring vehicles and equipment remain road legal at all times.

Ensure hire vehicle renewals and end of lease processes performed correctly

Create and maintain relationships with garages and service / repair centres
Licensing, Insurance and Compliance

Owner of the Vehicle accident/incident process and procedures

Manage all insurance claims, own and third party.

Maintain checking and reporting of driving licenses, liaising with HR.

Hold driver assessments

Ensure driver inductions take place ensuring processes are adhered to.

Ensure the Driver Handbook is up to date and record the issuing and reissuing to drives.

Ensure all vehicles are taxed and road legal
