Our Water Engineering Consultancy are seeking a Planning Manager/Coordinator to join their Fleet based team working with end clients.
Previous experience in leading and motivating numerous teams to meet targets and challenges set would be ideal. You will demonstrate a strong ability to coordinate and communicate at various levels across the business, both internal and externally, a self-motivated individual with the ability to work under minimum direct supervision. Our client are seeking an outgoing and dedicated person, considered to be flexible and responsive to change and to thrive on challenges.
Responsibilities
Establishing objectives and goals
Scheduling work as per contract stipulation
Maintaining communication between the project team and clients
Acquiring planning consent for proposals
Ensuring compliance with federal laws and regulations
Providing progress reports
Distributing work tasks among team members
Supervising project plans
Skills/experience/qualifications
Ability to step into any work stream to manage agents/team members, to ensure that the contracts key objectives are maintained and upheld daily.
Fully conversant with end-to-end process, incorporating Customer Focus, Planning, Construction, Reinstatement, Streetworks and Commercials.
Ability to manage projects, from start to finish, with time and cost management, upskilling staff as and when required.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to listen and manage staff in a controlled manner. Interact with 3rd parties, meeting challenges and understanding issues to address resolutions.
Intermediate IT skills, ability to produce spreadsheets/pivot tables/lookup functions as required for specific analysis or programming requirements.
Strong background in planning, resource management and meeting deadline schedules.
Being trained in NRSWA Supervision and Lantra to understand and can make recommendations or judgements on proposed works.
Full working knowledge of the client systems including Streetworks, covering S74 and defects.
Understanding of Councils, Customers, Client, Subcontractors, Employer and Employee expectations to achieve results.
Maintain H & S and Quality throughout each step of the process, ensuring challenges/issues are resolved, looking at solutions/alternative to provide an outcome
