£26,000 per annum + Hybrid Working, Study Support

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be working with a large, friendly & down to earth business in the Barnsley area as they look to recruit a Credit Controller into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic role in a fast-paced environment where you can really get stuck into the duties and have full autonomy of your role, while acting as the senior within the team. There are plenty of opportunities for progression and development within this team and you will be given all the support and tools you need to be successful in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the collection process for both major and minor accounts
Preparing payment applications for customers using Excel
Following up on payments
Conducting customer visits as needed
Allocating incoming payments to the correct accounts
Performing credit evaluations
Reconciling financial accounts
Gathering necessary documents for customer interactions
Recording, addressing, and resolving any queries
Coordinating with various internal teams
Handling customer inquiries over the phone
Troubleshooting and resolving intricate pricing issues
Managing general customer inquiries
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven background in Credit Control
Proficiency in spreadsheet software
Excellent communication skills
Strong organisational abilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Positive, adaptable approach to work
