We are currently working with a Children's service who are looking for a Court Progression Manager on a temporary basis. Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for people who are on a short notice period or immediately available.
Your new role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Court Progression Manager to join the team on a temporary basis. You will play a crucial role in managing court cases involving children and families, ensuring that all proceedings are handled with the utmost care and attention to detail. You will act as lead officer working closely with Legal and Children's services to ensure the timely progression of cases in family court proceedings. You will be responsible for a measurable improvement in the quality of court documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
Social Work Qualification
SWE Registration
Substantial post qualifying experience, at Team Manager level, in the field of child and family social work, including child protection and care proceedings, with knowledge of social care needs of children and families
A high-level understanding of the care proceedings/family justice system and experience of undertaking care proceedings
Able to communicate and build effective relationships with customers, staff, public and other professionals including ability to negotiate and influence others
