Fixed Term 20 Month Apprenticeship

We are recruiting for a Business Administration Apprentice to work in the Finance & Public Value Directorate. You will be working alongside the Executive Assistant who supports the Director of Finance & Public Value and 5 Senior managers within the Leadership Team.
The day to day tasks are varied and will include: diary management, attending meetings to take actions and decisions, arranging agendas and coordinating reports, meeting deadlines, working on mini projects, liaising with a wide range of people within Finance and Public Value, other Directorates across the organisation, Councillors and external stakeholders.
The duration of the apprenticeship contract will be approximately 20 months and this is a great opportunity to balance work and studying.
You will be required to undertake the Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard Level 3, which includes on-programme training to develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours within a business administration environment and Functionals Skills in Maths and English (where required).
During your apprenticeship you will be supported by the Council and training provider to successfully meet the learning outcomes required to undertake your end point assessment, which will be assessed by an external awarding organisation.
We offer a highly competitive stating salary of £22,737 per annum, 26 days holiday, flexible working arrangements, training, entry into a pension scheme, and potential career progression.
