Job Title: Finishing Site Manager

Day Rate: £300 - £325 p/d
PSR Solutions are working with a well renowned tier one contractor in order to source a Site Manager for the finishing stages of a large-scale health care project. This would be an ongoing appointment for the successful candidate until the practical completion is met.
Throughout the project, you would be reporting to a project manager. You would then be involved in overseeing day to day operations of the project as well as overcoming any issues that may arise. Time management and leadership skills are essential in ensuring a projects life cycle is completed efficiently and to the best possible standard.
The role would ideally suit a manager with excellent client interface, with public sector experience being advantageous. The ideal candidate will have experience of principle contractor building, from groundworks through to internal fit outs and finishing stages.
Role and duties:
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Produce schedules and monitor attendance
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Resolve problems when they arise
Report on progress to managers, engineers etc
Experience/Qualifications:
SMSTS
CSCS
1st AID
Excellent people skills
Strong communication skills
Experience working for a main contractor on multi-million-pound schemes
