Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of HRBPs, the incumbent will shape and deliver our Learning and Development strategy and support with the design and delivery of training courses across TVS, that are fair and accessible.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute and lead on specific L&D projects & activities and on strategic programmes to support the people strategy
- Lead on guiding stakeholders, along with the HR Business Partners, in team development
- Collaborate with department heads and team leaders to understand specific training requirements for different roles within the organisation.
- Analyse performance data and employee feedback to determine training priorities and areas for improvement.
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs that align with organisational goals and individual employee development needs.
- Be involved in the creation of engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, online modules, and multimedia visual aids.
- Collate and analyse L&D data to create metrics and trends to influence and lead positive and innovative change across the business
- Provide support to the HRBP team to drive the cultural change programmes through stakeholder relationships
- Identify areas that current external training can be delivered in house.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting including evaluation, cost benefit analysis and impact assessments

- Coach and influence stakeholders in all management development/upskilling matters, making recommendations of initiatives to respond to challenges
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to improve their impact on employee performance
- Continually analyse and assess customer needs to support future L&D planning
- Provide constructive feedback to the business and offer additional support as needed
- Supporting on management upskilling and coaching managers on self-service
- Take a people-centric approach to upskilling and developing colleagues and managers
- Implement evaluation methods such as surveys, quizzes, and assessments to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Analyse training data and prepare regular reports on training outcomes, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Use feedback and data-driven insights to continuously enhance the quality and relevance of training programs.
- Provide coaching and support to business leaders, departments and employees
- Actively promote diversity and a variety of perspectives across the organisation
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Robust experience in the design, development and delivery of L&D programmes
- Ability to work at a strategic level, combined with a pragmatic approach based on experience of delivering skills solutions in a fast moving, operational environment
- Ability to think long-term and act proactively to deliver sustainable learning outcomes
- Demonstratable experience of training needs analysis and implementation based on information and the business needs
- Developing and delivering a schedule of L&D events using a mixture of internal and external providers
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to provide sound judgement and decision making
- Skilled and knowledgeable in the development of leaders and managers, learning and organisational development models, continual improvement approaches and methodologies
- Ability to design, develop and deliver creative and engaging L&D events through excellent training and facilitation skills
- Confident and competent in both written, visual and spoken communication with the ability to present to large, diverse and often virtual audiences
- Knowledge of evaluating L&D activity and return on investment, able to demonstrate improvement based on feedback and working with managers
