Right now, we are looking for a Purchase & Subcontract Ledger Clerk on a fixed term basis to join our Finance Team, based out of our offices in Coxheath.
About The Role…
This is a fixed term, maternity cover role, lasting 9-12 months.
As our Purchase & Subcontract Ledger Clerk, you’ll be responsible for processing the purchase ledger and subcontract ledger for the group, as well as assisting both the wider finance team and our Payroll Manager.
You’l be responsible for processing subcontract ledger valuations across the group with the ability to challenge the commercial team about discrepancies, Process weekly subcontractor invoices, and provide cover for processing purchase ledger transactions.
You’ll be able to use your organisational and administrative skills to support other members of the finance team and our payroll manager with additional administrative tasks, as well as being responsible for preparing and raising BACS files to process the purchase and subcontract ledger

You’ll come from a similar position within a finance team, ideally from the construction sector however this is not essential. You’ll have excellent IT skills, be organised, and have a positive attitude.
