A reputable and growing main contractor that is a global leader in delivering innovative engineering and construction solutions across a diverse range of technical industries is currently looking to add an experienced and committed Mechanical Construction Manager for a data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany.
As a Mechanical Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing, leading, and monitoring a team of tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure that safety, quality, and the project programme targets are consistently met.
You will report to the Mechanical Project Manager and work collaboratively with them and other members of the site team to deliver a cutting-edge data centre project in Frankfurt.

Your Duties & Responsibilities:

Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the Safety Advisor.

Holding daily/weekly toolbox talks

Management of Site QA in conjunction with the Mechanical Package Manager.

Contribute to the updating of the Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, Consulting Engineer, the Client and other relevant third parties.

Manage the onsite coordination of activities with other trades.

Management of all day to day on site operations

Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.

Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings, and Handover Meetings.

Attendance on System Walkdowns, both internal and client

Management and close out of all punch items

Ensure correct revision drawings are being used for the completion of construction activities

Complete a weekly look ahead ensuring co-ordination with other trades.

Issue internal weekly progress reports.

Schedule & track material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule.
What You’ll Need
-
A minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager.

Previous experience in Process Piping on a large project.

Previous experience delivering large projects in the data centre sector or other similar industries.

Strong knowledge of the design and construction process.

Ability to control and manage people and programmes.
-
Professional certification / Trade Qualified.

Ability to travel and work in the project location on a rotational basis.

Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large projects.

Excellent communication skills.
-
Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.

Computer skills - Windows, MS Office, and MS Project.
