We are actively recruiting for a Finance Manager to work on a short term (with potentially the opportunity to become permanent) role based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
This role essentially is required to oversee all the day to day finance activities for the business, where the role is typically responsible for the following duties:
Reporting on financial matters at Management Team Meetings
Maintain the Fixed Assets Register
Prepare weekly bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts
Supervision of a small finance team
Manage foreign currently requirements
Accruals and Prepayments
Processing supplier payments
Prepare and process payroll
Review, reconcile and report on monthly stock levels and WIP
Produce monthly Management Accounts within 7 days of month end
VAT returns
Work with the external accountants to provide information for the year end and audit process
Adhoc duties to support the team.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential
Qualified by experience would be considered alongside formally qualified candidates
IT Literate - ERP systems experience is essential
Team player with a flexible attitude
Successful candidates must be able to commute to the office in St Ives on a daily basis, must be eligible to live and work in the UK without requiring sponsorship and be available to start work as soon as possible.
