Internal Key Account Manager

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Internal Key Account Manager will be pivotal in supporting the long-term supply arrangement with one of our client’s major retail customers. Information gathering will be at the heart of this role and it will be essential that data can be consolidated and shared in a consistent, timely and accurate manner to enable proactive customer support.

Duties of the Internal Key Account Manager

Coordinating information updates for both internally and externally and communicating the overall picture with customer

Undertaking retail pricing surveys and consolidating benchmarking information for customer

Updates for customer on competitor activations and NPD

Support for supply planning, particularly at peak periods, and ensure customer is kept fully briefed

Support customer supply chain review meetings with presentations on ‘Plan for Better’, security of supply and cost model

Support for day to day supply chain function and liaison with internal factory team

Maintain all supply chain documentation

Preparing presentations, reports and analysis
Key skills for the Internal key account manager

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business studies related field.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to collect, track, and analyse large amounts of data.

Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent active listening skills.

Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.

Understanding of consumer behaviours and industry trends.
