Our client are seeking a GSE Parts Advisor to join their team at Gatwick Airport.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the GSE parts industry, although candidates with a strong background in heavy vehicle or heavy equipment parts may also be considered.
This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground support equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently manage and maintain GSE parts inventory.
Process parts orders, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Collaborate with technicians to identify and source required parts.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of parts inventory.
Assist with physical inventory counts and stock control.
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in GSE, heavy vehicle, or heavy equipment parts is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in computer systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
Competitive salary of £30,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
25 days annual leave
Monday to Friday working hours (07:00am - 15:30pm)
