We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our client’s dynamic team near Cannock. This role is pivotal in supporting the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial processes. If you have a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in accounts management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle sales invoicing, credit notes and client-specific portals.
Accurately input purchase invoices, ensuring all required authorisations and procedures are followed.
Prepare and distribute monthly statements.
Establish and manage Purchase and Sales Ledger Accounts.
Process monthly rebates efficiently and accurately.
Conduct credit checks on prospective customers and determine appropriate credit limits.
Requirements:
Previous experience using SAGE50
Must have worked previously in an Accounts/Finance related role
Muat be a proficient user of Microsoft Excel
Able to work in a busy department
