Branch Manager + £50-55k + Permanent + 33 days holiday
Our client based in ST Helens, deliver air, sea and road freight solutions from offices in the UK, mainland Europe and across Asia, with a network in a further 100 countries.
They are looking for a Branch Manager to join their freight forwarding business on a permanent basis, managing an inhouse team of 8 people.
Branch Manager responsibilities:

Strong man management skills and working within a budget controlled environment

Responsible for some commercial activity i.e. quotations and profitability

Must be able to negotiate rates with shipping lines

Will be responsible for ensuring all accounts are invoice out timely and latest within 4 working days of end of month

Ensure fairness on holidays whilst maintaining the offie has adequate cover for every eventuality

Building of the right team for expansion of the business and nuturing that team for the greater good of the company.

As the Branch Manager you must be fully compliant of all customs export formalities and must ensure that the whole office is complying to HMRC regulations
