On-site parkingAbout the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Health and Safety/Office Administrator to join our team in Pershore. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our Health and Safety (H&S) management systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the Health & Safety Management System, including document control.
Prepare risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and standard operating procedures.
Conduct DSE and environmental risk assessments.
Investigate and analyze accidents, incidents, and near-miss events.
Plan, implement, and record inspections and monitoring of operational plant and equipment in compliance with current legislation.
Manage the contractor evaluation process, including on-site contractor management, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements.
Maintain records related to HSSE audits, loss events, incidents, near misses, and working hours.
Produce monthly HSSE reports.
Support the production and delivery of safety alerts and toolbox talks.
Manage and purchase PPE and first aid supplies across the business.
Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections.
Manage external health and safety audits.
Monitor legislative updates and ensure company compliance.Skills and Attributes:
Experience working in a similar role or department.
IOSH/NEBOSH or other safety-related qualifications (desirable).
Previous experience with ISO management systems (desirable).
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
