Job Role
They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join their team.
This role is designed to provide substantial support to our Project Managers (PMs) from a line management perspective and to act as a bridge between the Associate Director (AD) and PM levels.
The Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities of PMs, conducting annual appraisal reviews, and serving as a key point of contact for staff. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will assist in bid writing, attend networking events, and actively seek new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Line Management Support:
Provide day-to-day support to PMs, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
Conduct annual appraisal reviews for PMs, offering constructive feedback and identifying development opportunities.
Serve as a primary point of contact for PMs, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
Project Management:
Oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Implement best practices in project management and continuously seek ways to improve processes.
Coordinate with the AD to align project goals with company objectives.
Business Development:
Assist in preparing and supporting bid writing documents to secure new projects.
Attend industry networking events to represent the company and build professional relationships.
Identify and pursue opportunities to bring new clients and projects onboard, contributing to the company's growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. ‘
A Master's degree or PMP certification is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience in bid writing and business development activities.
Ability to attend and participate in networking events, with a focus on expanding the company’s client base
