A super super super exciting role has become available for a Construction Programme Manager to join my clients business to support with multiple fit out/construction projects across their commercial office portfolio.
This role will suit a fit-out specialist who enjoys working within commercial office spaces and design.
The role is initially for a 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT - but will likely be extended.

The Construction Programme Manager (client-side) will direct and execute a variety of capital construction projects across the office estate. Projects will include both refresh/refurbishments and new construction projects, focussing on predominantly CAT A and CAT B fit-outs of commercial offices.

This role will be accountable for ensuring notifiable works are managed appropriately and effectively from a client perspective, and obligations discharged under the Construction Design Management Regulations 2023 (new version).

This role can be based out of various offices such as London, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol, the South Coast and Dublin, but will require significant travel.
What are we looking for a an applicant:

Preferably a chartered builder, building surveyor or project manager with heavy construction bias. Client-side experience preferred.

Experienced project manager in complex corporate environments

Evidence of managing medium/large capital interior fit-out/refurbishment projects, covering project conception, planning, budget management and control, HoT / lease negotiation and quality management

Experience managing licence to alter (LtA) in addition to Wayleave applications.

Strong strategic skills, especially in relation to property management

Solid risk management and conflict resolution experience

Ability to combine strategic outlook with hands-on attitude and an attention to detail

Focussed on high standards of service delivery and best value solutions

Strong communication skills with an ability to influence decisions at all levels and command respect from all areas of the business.

Experience / knowledge of H&S legislation, statutory compliance requirements, technical M&E issues and FM best practice

Significant experience in managing contractors and strong contract management skills

Leadership qualities and taking ownership and accountability outsourced contractors under management

A good level of business awareness and commercial acumen

Strong organisational, time management and prioritization skills
