My Client is on the lookout for a passionate Technical Coordinator to join the ranks.
This is your chance to take on a pivotal role where your expertise in managing technical aspects, from design coordination to compliance, will drive the success of their projects. You’ll work alongside a team of dedicated professionals, collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors, and play a crucial part in delivering homes that their customers will love.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Pre-Development Programme Planning: Analyze information to support the creation of Pre-Development Programmes.

Consultant Management: Oversee and coordinate external consultants to ensure production information is delivered according to agreed scope, fee, and schedule.

Technical Quality Assurance: Ensure all technical documentation is of high quality, value-engineered, and sufficient to secure necessary approvals, minimize risks, and facilitate efficient site initiation.

Production Information Management: Manage, control, and distribute working drawings and associated technical information to relevant stakeholders.

Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely submission and approval of statutory enquiries, sewer connections, and other section agreements.

Regulatory Submissions: Handle the submission and management of NHBC, building regulations, and discharge of planning condition applications.

Financial Tracking: Maintain and update records of professional fees and budgets on a monthly basis to support ongoing financial reporting.

Sales and Conveyance Support: Assist in the preparation of sales brochures and conveyance plans.

Project Meetings and Site Visits: Organize and attend progress meetings, both pre- and post-development, and regularly visit sites to ensure continuous and cost-effective development.

Subcontractor Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and collaborate closely with the Commercial team to ensure tight cost controls and budget alignment.

Problem Resolution: Liaise with internal and external parties to promptly address and resolve any technical or construction issues.
Ideal Candidate
They are looking for a candidate with proven experience as a Technical Coordinator within the residential housebuilding sector. The ideal candidate should also have strong organizational and communication skills, along with:

A relevant HNC/HND with post-qualification experience.

In-depth understanding of construction practices and techniques common in the building industry.

A working knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, and related legislation.

Excellent communication and project management capabilities.

Proficiency in identifying and resolving issues quickly and effectively.

A full UK driving license.
