A client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting a Buyer to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm and paying £25,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
General purchasing of manufacturing items.
Stock control.
Liaising with suppliers.
Raising purchase orders.
Assisting in setting up MRP system.
Helping to improve the efficiency of the company.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Buyer position:
Experience within purchasing and procurement essential.
Excellent communication skills
Manufacturing industry experience desirable but not essential.
Experience in using an MRP system.
