Payroll Administrator
We are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our fun and friendly team here in Cheltenham on a full-time basis due to maternity cover and business growth. This is an office-based role, but the team do have and informal lunchtime finish on a Friday, as well as the option to look at hybrid working following initial bedding in and becoming comfortable with the role.
Responsibilities of an Payroll Assistant include:
Running a weekly payroll for up to 2000 temporary workers and 200 timesheets per week
Processing holidays and all deductions, including SMP and attachment of earnings
Managing new starters and leavers on the system
Issuing P60s and end of year documentation
Basic finance administration, including invoicing
Credit control
Working as part of a small, close-knit team
We are looking for an Payroll Administrator with:
Experience in a similar role, using Oxford software (TempAid) is ideal, but not essential as full training will be given
An excellent telephone manner, strong customer service skills and teamwork drive
A can-do attitude, with patience and strong organisation
Excellent attention to detail and an aptitude for numbers and spreadsheet work
A desire to join a fun and friendly team who work closely, all striving for the success of the business
