Leading tourism organisation is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to be responsible for providing administrative support to their finance team / Management Accountant.
Role:
You will assist in the preparation of financial reports, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring that financial records are accurate and up to date. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger; invoice processing and payment

Sales Ledger; invoice posting and credit control

Nominal Ledger journal posting and reconciliation (including ad hoc analysis)

Cost / Job Ledger posting and analysis

Stock Ledger – allocation, adjustment, reconciliation and reporting
They are looking for someone with previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
Payroll experience is desirable – to covering weekly wages processing for annual leave etc.
Good knowledge of Excel essential
