Paralegal – Court of Protection
3 days office based/ 2 days WFH

Top 100 Full-Service UK Law Firm are looking for a Court of Protection Paralegal to join their prestigious business. The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate experience in court of protection work. This is a great opportunity to support fee earners and gain valuable experience within a well-established law firm.
Key duties include:
Assisting solicitors in managing Court of Protection cases.
Drafting legal documents such as applications, witness statements, and letters to clients.
Liaising with clients, medical professionals, and other relevant parties.
Conducting legal research and case investigations.
Managing and maintaining case files and documentation.
Providing support during hearings and liaising with barristers.
Assisting in the preparation of bills and invoices for clients.
Keeping up-to-date with changes in relevant legislation and procedures.
Handling correspondence and communication on behalf of clients.
Assisting in the administration of financial affairs for clients under Court of Protection supervision.
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal and ethical standards in all tasks. Skills and Qualifications:
A commitment to excellent client care and proven experience in court of protection work
To be well organised, able to show initiative and work well under pressure where necessary.
To have excellent communication skills and be a real team player with a flexible and professional approach to work.
A proven record of delivering a high-quality service to both fee earners and clients.
Good IT skills, experience, and confidence with using case management systems and general Microsoft packages.
