HR Administrator - Required to join a respected and established family-owned business based in West Leeds. Our client specialises in structural steelwork and due to ongoing success, the opportunity has developed a requirement for a HR Administrator, they do not currently have a HR department so the individual will need come in and lead the company forward on this. The role will also involve Health and safety Admin responsibilities which can be thought and the company will offer training and support with this.
HR Administrator Position Overview
Day to day running of HR for 61 Staff
Look after the admin and general running of internal H & S processes
Maintaining and updating of company policies
Promoting a healthy work environment
Maintaining and updating company H & S policies in line with legislations
Produce and review risk assessments for various procedures
Attend training courses on relevant topics
Co-ordinate Corporate Induction Programme for new starters
Planning & co-ordinating employee engagement activities and events
HR Administrator Position Requirements
Experience in a HR role
Ability to deal independently with internal conflict
High quality verbal and written communication skill
Ability to be proactive and to use initiative is essential
Excellent organisational skills and strong ability to prioritise
An understanding of relevant employment law
CIPD qualification desirable but not essential
HR Administrator Position Remuneration
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Biannual bonus scheme
25 days' holiday + BH
