HR Manager
Location: Blackburn UK (with occasional travel to Reading and other sites)
60% Remote, 40% Office-Based
Salary: Up to £55,000 per year
Bonus: OTE 20% of base salary

The People Manager is responsible for delivering comprehensive human resource and talent development support across the organisation. This role partners with the local management team to develop and implement HR strategies and programs that align with the Group’s guidelines and long-term business objectives. The People Manager will also oversee day-to-day HR operations and serve as the primary HR contact for employees based in the UK and Ireland
Day to day duties:

Partner with local management to develop and implement HR programs that align with Group guidelines and long-term strategy.

Manage all HR-related activities, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, employee development, compensation, and welfare.

Lead and enhance recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent across various functions, including Sales & Operations, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, and Technology.

Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to candidate on boarding.

Identify and monitor learning and development needs across the organisation.

Design and implement training programs, track learning outcomes, and measure training effectiveness.

Contribute to the development and execution of organisational growth initiatives, such as employee satisfaction surveys, talent development programs, and succession planning.

Implement and uphold HR Global Guidelines and Policies

Manage HR operational tasks including contract drafting, mandatory communications, and pension fund administration.

Serve as a point of contact for all HR-related issues for UK & Ireland employees (approx. 60 people).

Ensure all HR activities are compliant with local employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of HR management and operations experience

In-depth knowledge of local employment laws and regulations

University degree with strong academic performance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines

Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.

People-oriented with a strong ability to foster team spirit.
