Are you an experienced Contracts Manager? Our client is seeking dedicated Contracts Manager to oversee and manage their teams and contracts. As a Contracts Manager, you'll play a key role crucial role in ensuring that our clients landscaping projects and contracts are carried out to the highest of standards.
As a Contracts Manager your responsibilities will include the following:
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Contracts Manager with a track record in landscaping to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in overseeing landscaping projects that involve the installation and maintenance of structural elements such as patios, pathways, driveways, retaining walls, and other non-plant features. Your responsibilities will span across project management, coordination, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Scope Definition: Work with clients, designers, and architects to understand the project's requirements, specifications, and deliverables.

Budget Management: Develop, manage, and oversee project budgets, ensuring all costs align with the agreed financial plans.

Scheduling: Create detailed project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are scheduled appropriately to meet deadlines.

Resource Allocation: Allocate necessary resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to ensure the project runs smoothly.

Site Assessment: Conduct site visits to assess conditions and determine the best approaches for the project.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, implementing necessary safety measures on-site.

Contract Administration: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.

Standards Compliance: Ensure that all work meets the required industry standards and specifications.

Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed about project progress and addressing any concerns.

Reporting: Provide regular updates and detailed reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.

Feedback Management: Collect and integrate client and stakeholder feedback to improve project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Cost Control: Monitor expenses and manage costs effectively to keep the project within budget.

Invoicing and Payments: Oversee the preparation and submission of invoices, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and subcontractors.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, tracking project profitability and identifying areas for improvement.

Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks to the project, such as delays, cost overruns, or compliance issues.
We are looking for a Contracts Manager who has the following skills and qualifications:

Full UK Driver’s License is essential

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Landscaping Contracts Manager

Experience managing projects in excess of 250K

Strong communication and writing skills

NVQ in Landscaping is preferred

SSSTS is preferred

SMSTS is preferred
-
CSCS card is Preferred
