New Business Sales Executive
Our client is a comparison service within the home moving industry. They have experienced rapid growth and are looking for the best people to join our growing team to help them become a recognised brand within the UK.
Their vision is to be the home of moving home. Their mission is to build the best network of verified partners from local trusted professionals, whilst saving home movers time and money on moving services.
As part of their rapid expansion, they are look for a New Business Sales Executive based in Cardiff.
Do you have a passion for selling over the phone? Do you love building relationships with prospects to secure long-term partnerships? Do you aim to be the leading salesperson wherever you work?
Current sales team size is seven and looking to expand over the next year.
Key Responsibilities as a Sales Executive:
- The successful candidate will be working closely with the existing sales team and will be accountable for contributing to the continued growth of our trusted partner network of removal, surveying, and conveyancing partners.
- You will be working inbound and outbound enquiries to prospective companies with the intention of them joining our partner network, working towards team and individual targets.
- You must be able to work under pressure, utilizing your sales skills to build strong relationships with potential new partners.
- You will make multiple calls and compose multiple emails per day to maximize conversion.
- There is a degree of account management involved.
- Be responsible for growing our business partner network by direct telemarketing.
- You will have to be adaptable with being able to sell to different types of prospects.
Requirements-
Key requirements as a Sales Executive
- B2B sales experience with the knowledge and ability to sell to different types of customer
- Rapport building skills
- Strong opening and closing skills
- Objection handling skills
- Someone who is resilient - self-motivated and has a passion for achieving goals who can adapt to a fast paced and ever-changing environment
- We need people who love doing direct outbound telemarketing calls to pre-set lists- all preceded with email marketing. You will need to demonstrate to us you have a passion for this and can deliver results
- We need you to be a great communicator who is friendly and outgoing- genuinely enjoys dealing with people who can be enthusiastic
- You will need to be someone who loves an email. You will be using Outlook every day - using templates provided and free written direct emails so you need to be confident utilising email for sales
- We need people who thrive being part of a team - who love helping teammates improve and are always wanting to share ideas and contribute across the business
Overall - we need someone who can demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude to the sales team and the company as a whole to ensure we grow the partner network massively to help the company achieve it’s overall growth targets.
Must haves as a Sales Executive
- B2B and B2C sales experience
- The ability to use straight-line techniques to close a sale
- The ability to mirror customers
- Rapport building skills creating common ground
- An individual that has a proven track record of holding down successful sales jobs and doesn't jump from job to job
- The role is full time in the office 5 days a week
- The ability to positively handle objections
