Position Overview:
We are seeking talented and experienced Chefs to join our agency for part-time roles. As a expereinced Chef you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to strict dietary guidelines and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to all requirements and menu plans.
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items that meet nutritional standards.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standard of quality, presentation, and taste.
Manage specific sections of the kitchen and coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Always adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
Requirements:
Proven experience minimum as a Chef de Partie, preferably in a healthcare or large-scale catering environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, including allergen management.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of food preparation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
