Deputy Manager – Castleford (Residential Children’s Home)
Overview:
Our client is set to open two new children’s residential homes in Castleford by the end of this year and is actively seeking qualified candidates to join their team. Interview and onboarding will begin immediately to ensure the team is fully assembled before the homes officially open.
Position Summary:
We are looking for two experienced Deputy Managers to support the operations of our new Castleford children’s residential homes. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in children's residential care, including at least 2 years of experience in team management.
Salary: Starting salary of £36,270 with an increase upon successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
Location: Castleford
Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a management role within a children’s residential setting.
Education: Must hold or be working towards a Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential/Children's Workforce or a Level 4 qualification in Children, Young People, and Families Practitioner (Residential) or higher.
Driving: A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role involves transporting young people to appointments, educational institutions, social events, and family contacts.
Salary & Benefits:
Starting salary of £36,270.00, with a potential increase upon successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
Contracted for 46.5 hours per week, which includes:
Three office shifts from 09:00-17:00
One 24-hour shift from 08:00-23:00, including an overnight sleep-in and a half-hour handover the following day.
This schedule totals 201.5 hours per month.
Participation in a rotating emergency on-call duty, one week per month.
