Job Description
The Planning & Inventory Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure seamless production.
- Overseeing procurement processes and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Developing and implementing effective planning strategies.
- Monitoring supply chain performance and driving continuous improvements.
- Collaborating closely with department leaders to align goals and objectives.
- Providing leadership and direction to the procurement and supply chain team.
- Managing department budgets and leading cost-reduction initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and company standards.
The Successful Applicant
To succeed as a Planning & Inventory Manager, the ideal candidate should possess:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial/Manufacturing sector.
- Strong skills in strategic planning and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to foster supplier relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement and supply chain management.
