Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor
Location: DN20 - Brigg
Shifts: Days regular
Hourly rate: Negotiable dependent on candidate
Contracting role until December 2024 (potentially to be reviewed)
Metalis Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a Power Station in Brigg.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensuring that all H&S related systems and procedures are implemented and adhered to
Recording, reporting and investigating any accidents or incidents which occur on site
Reviewing all activities and ensure suitable and sufficient Risk Assessments are implemented and communicated
Liasing with colleagues and customers to ensure continuous improvement of the H&S systems are implemented and to promote a positive safety culture
Liasing with the Company QHSE Manager on H&S issues as necessary
Carrying our risk assessments and preparing method statements for all work activities
Reviewing risk assessments and method statements
Promoting a safe working culture, promoting safe working practices
Reporting and liasing with the central QHSE as approiate
Job Requirements:
The suitable candidate must have previous experience of working on Power stations.
NEBOSH qualification
To implement all company policies and procedures
To uphold the good name of the company and to behave in an appropriate manner both on and off the premises
To establish and maintain positive relations with others and present a high standard of professionalism
Any other duties within the purpose, scope and spirit of the post as may be required by the Directors or their delegate's authority
Shifts & Salary:
Days regular - 40 - 45 hours per week
Salary is negotiable
