Job Description: As a Fire Damper Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire dampers in commercial buildings. You will ensure that all fire safety systems are functioning correctly and comply with relevant codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install fire dampers in HVAC systems according to design specifications and building codes.
- Inspection: Perform regular inspections of fire dampers to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintenance: Conduct maintenance and repairs on fire dampers, ensuring they function properly and meet safety standards.
- Testing: Carry out functional and performance tests on fire dampers to verify their effectiveness.
