We are working with an independently owned 4-star hotel in Northampton who are currently seeking a Deputy Manager to work on a full time and permanent basis.
Salary c.£30000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience) plus benefits
Role
· You will be working (Apply online only) or (Apply online only) or 1500 - close each day
· Usually, the day will end by 2000/2100 Mon-Sat and 1900 on Sun
· Where possible, the Proprietor or General Manager will ensure 2 days off together
· Youll be working 5 out of 7 days per week
· Managing a team of 5 Front of House staff and 1 Bartender on shift
· Total Front of house team is made up of 20 including casual staff
· Taking full control of the floor and staffing during service including delegation of tasks
· Responsible for stock take and stock control from suppliers
· Communicating effectively with kitchen, Head Chef and General Manager daily
Environment
· Boutique accommodation and pub
· Circa 22 hotel rooms
· Current Deputy Manager has worked for this company for over 7 years, they are now being promoted to General Manager to work for another hotel within the group
Candidate
· Might currently work as a Supervisor or Team Leader or Deputy Manager with a strong food and beverage background
· Shall have prior experience within a pub, restaurant and/or hotel environment
· Must have vast pub or restaurant or venue front of house experience
· Will be an excellent communicator with premium customer facing experience
· Should be a team player with a hands on approach
· Has a can do attitude to get stuck in
· Can take control of the operation when the General Manager is off site
· Would have supplier contact and will be willing to take care of stock deliveries
