Quack Recruitment and Training is currently recruiting for a Bid Writer role, which is working internally within the business.
Responsibilities for the Bid Writer role will be:

Write and, edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal, and delivery.

Ensure win themes are articulated in such a way as to meet/exceed the client’s requirements.

Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Proposal Manager against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required.

Lead storyboard sessions with bid team members, and key stakeholders.

Undertake market research for the kick-off and solution meetings.

Proactively develop and manage a network of subject matter experts.

Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.

Ability to coach sales and solution / SME teams in writing best practices.

Present and tag all new proposal content to the knowledgebase manager for potential re-use.

Knowledge of proposal automation software.

Communicate and influence at a senior level.

Excellent time management/prioritisation skills.

Forensic attention to detail and meticulous proofreading skills.
Requirements for the Bid Writer role will be:

Demonstratable experience within the same sector we are working in, namely Recruitment and Training
-
At least 5+ years’ experience
-
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Drive and ability to support the ‘kick-off’ team post-award
Pay for the Bid Writer role will be £30,000 - £50,000
Monthly Pay
Hours for the role will be: 30 – 40 hours (dependent on requirements)
