Job Title: National Business Development Manager
Location: Remote
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Package
The Client
Our client are a global electrical safety business who provide products that protect people, machines and the environment against the direct and indirect hazards of electrical currents. They offer these solutions to a variety of industries including Healthcare, Defence / MOD, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, renewables, oil & gas and Rail.
They are looking to add a National Business Development Manager to their team.
The Role of National Business Development Manager
The purpose of the role is tocontribute to the ambitious growth strategy of the Industrial division by identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic commercial relationships that will drive profitable sales of our clients products, aligning with the overall growth objectives of the division. There will be a particular focus on winning large clients within manufacturing, distribution centres and data centres.

Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive customer acquisition and growth.

Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential partnerships.

Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and to identify areas for growth.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both external and internal.

Negotiate and close strategic partnerships within our chosen sectors.

Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospects to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align strategies and ensure successful execution.

Collaborate with the sales team to provide strategic support and to ensure alignment with business goals.

Track, analyse, and report on the performance of business development initiatives and strategies.

Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in business development.

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Ensure a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to tailor business development strategies accordingly.
The Person

Extensive business development experience.

Demonstrable track record of successfully acquiring and growing relationships with prestigious and high-profile customers.

Ideally from an Industrial background

Experience of selling a technical solution

Clean driving licence
-
Proven track record of delivering stretched sales targets
