Finance Officer, Accounts Receivable
Location: Kings Cross, London
Salary: £30,284 to £33,649 per annum
Working hours: 35 hours per week, typically 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, Hybrid, 3 days in the office.

Do you want to work with one of the largest not for profit housing associations in London?
We are looking for a number of experienced Finance Officers to work in the Accounts Receivable function for our client based in London King's Cross.
As an Accounts Receivable Finance Officer, you will manage and process all aspects of the
processing of rental, cash receipts and other income in the Accounts Receivable function, this will include processing invoices, ensure customer payments and Housing Benefits are posted correctly and ensuring queries and adjustments to accounts are dealt with promptly and within agreed timescales.
As a valued member of the Finance team, you will drive a customer centric ethos and continuous improvement culture within the Finance team, ensuring all finance services deliver the best outcomes for their residents.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the principles of double entry bookkeeping and the implications of accounting entries in general and be able to resolve complex payments issues through data analysis. You must also have a good understanding of month-end routines for preparation of reporting and reconciliations and have strong communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
We need someone who has a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role with-in an Accounts receivable department and ideally studying towards an AAT or CCAB recognised accounting qualification with supporting CPD (study support is available where applicable)
