Developing and implementing sourcing strategies
Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts
Analyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
Overseeing supply needs and managing inventory levels
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality goods within the set timelines
Collaborating with stakeholders to forecast demand and establish supply parameters
Implementing effective procurement proposals
Staying abreast with industry trends and market conditionsProfile
A successful 'Senior Buyer' should have:
A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in Procurement & Supply Chain Management
Experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector
Strong negotiation and networking skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in relevant procurement software
