This role will be based within the companies brand new factory, with state of the art machinery, where the layout has been designed by an Engineering Manager to ensure ease for the Maintenance team. Offering a salary of £48-50K dependant on experience to work Friday to Sunday 12 hour shifts.

As a Maintenance Engineer, the role will involve but will not be limited to:
Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Planner to ensure safe, timely and effective completion of on-site reactive and PPM duties, liaising with the relevant departments to minimise downtime
Using skills to complete electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair activities across a range of equipment
Supporting maintenance shutdowns
Understanding system drawings and machinery manuals (Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic)
Diagnosing defects, effect repairs and evaluate results (test before handing back)
Acting as a role model and lead by example demonstrating Core company values, behaviours, and high-performance standards at all times
Working Hours:
Friday to Sunday
6am - 6pm
Overtime available paying x1.5 or double time depending on shift
Suitable Candidate:
Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Previously worked within a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment before
Multi skilled - will look at someone with a mechanical bias but must have electrical skills and / qualifications
18th Edition Electricity At Work Regulations
Knowledge of PUWER Regs is an advantage
Strong communicator, abiltity to liaise with a variety of staff on site from shop floor through to management
