Are you a finance professional with a knack for both detailed invoicing and high-level commercial projects? We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic team in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the Marine Engineering sector.
Responsibilities would include:
Preparation of the monthly management accounts, including raising / posting journals
Managing company credit cards
Overseeing the purchase invoice process
Analysis of management accounts, liaising with operations regarding material variances and queries
Daily bank reconciliation
Maintenance of balance sheet control accounts
Preparation of weekly cashflows, streamlining processes where possible
Preparation of annual budgets
Payroll
Skills and Experience:
In-depth knowledge of SME management accounts
Self-motivator used to proactively improving and investigating
Strong cashflow management
SAGE experience desirable
A good understanding of IT packages including Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with directors
