Commercial Manager for bespoke House builder with projects across Surrey and Kent
About the role of Commercial Manager
A specialist developer who work on projects up to 300 units under Traditional build methods are currently seeking a Commercial Manager to work as part of a small team. You will be working on projects from early stages managing the full life cycle of the projects including buying thought to final accounts. You will have 1 team member reporting in to you and you will report to the directors. You will be predominately office based, with site visits.
Requirements for Commercial Manager
The company are looking for a candidate with experience with another developer, ideally worked on a lot of change and bespoke builds. The company have several new projects starting over the next 2 years so you will need to be organised and proactive in bringing the projects to site whilst managing other live projects at various stages.
Responsibility for commercial management of projects
Managing teams including individuals growth and training
Interface with internal and external clients and their professional teams
Dispute resolution with clients and supply chain
Ability to work independentlyThe company:
This developer are part of a larger business and have a standalone turnover of £50m per year. They build beautiful new homes across Surrey and Kent are well established with 4 new projects confirmed starting in the next 18 months. With sites ranging from 10- 300 units.
