Purpose

Operations Coordinator - Tasks & responsibilities: (Not limited to)
- Liaise with Operations Director to ensure preventative maintenance plans adhered to.
- Manage daily production against production plan to ensure orders are available for the customer.
- Plan labour to ensure right skills in the right place and production plan can be met.
- Ensure accurate records are kept of downtime for analysis
- Minimise material scrap
- Ensure daily checks are being carried out as per procedures
- Ensure procedures are in place for all activities carried out in production
- Organise and conduct meetings with the team on a regular basis
- Identify training requirements of staff and ensure training is carried out
- Maintain a skill level balance on all shifts.
- Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Ensure all employees follow procedures
- Revise existing and implement new procedures
- Explain procedures to employees
- Ensure BRC requirements are met on daily basis
Operations Coordinator - What makes you great
Education / Experience:
- Significant recent experience within a fast-paced production environment with experience operating at Supervisor level - industry relevant experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong people management experience
- Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
- Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
- Substantial exposure to safe working practises within an FMCG organisation
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
