The Role: Customer Technical Manager
- We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Customer Technical Manager to join team. This role is crucial as we navigate through a period of change, and we need a leader who can guide the technical team through the demanding challenges presented by customers and supply base.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Liaison: Act as the senior technical representative to our customers, ensuring their needs are communicated and fulfilled by the factory.
- Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of raw material technologists and technical information officers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Audit and Compliance: Manage customer audits and technical visits, ensuring all standards and specifications are met.
- Complaint Management: Oversee the customer complaint system, providing data and corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrences.
- Product Development: Collaborate with NPD, commercial, and operational departments to develop safe, legal, and innovative products that meet customer codes of practice.

Qualifications and Experience Essential:
- Food Safety Level 3
- HACCP Level 3
- Experience with raw material & packaging specifications
- Customer technical management experience
- Hosting audits and people management
Desirable:
- Food Safety Level 4
- HACCP Level 4
- Degree in a food-related discipline
- Knowledge of CIMSCEE, specific retailer standards, and our product range (ambient stable)
