Assistant Accountant
Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their dedicated team just outside of Boston. Main Responsibilities
Purchase Ledger Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the purchase ledger to ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions.
Sales Ledger Management: Maintain and control the sales ledger, ensuring all sales are recorded accurately and promptly.
Cash Book Management: Handle the cash book, including daily reconciliations and monitoring of cash flow.
Cash Receipts Preparation: Responsible for the daily preparation and management of cash receipts, ensuring all receipts are processed and recorded accurately.
Credit Control: Manage credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding balances, contacting customers regarding overdue accounts, and coordinating with the sales team to resolve payment issues.
Required
Professional accounting qualification - desirable
Proven track record in a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills

Boston, Lincolnshire
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, including a one-hour lunch break.
