Research Analyst - ALT
London - Hybrid - 6 month FTC - Inside IR35
Up to £230 per day + Umbrella fees (Including holiday pay)
We're looking for a Research Analyst to manage, coordinate, and deliver all aspects of the Audience Leisure Time Study (ALT) an annual multi-market research study including agency management, survey design, questionnaire development, data analysis, quality checking, key issue identification and debriefing to senior EMEA, LOB leadership, and FIGSUK markets.
This role will require someone who can continue to assist the US with roll out of the ALT study to US and other international markets.
Do you have experience supporting Senior Research Management in the development delivery and analysis of regional quantitative research projects?
Can you undertake the analysis and triangulation of data, identifying key audience & franchise opportunities and competitive threats especially on key global projects? Can you create a narrative with actionable recommendations/ solutions for business challenges and strategy? Can you coordinate and deliver relevant ad-hoc quantitative projects ran through the Attest platform. To include identification of business needs, survey and sample design, translation, data analysis, key insights, recommendations and supporting on deck and data debriefing to stakeholders/senior management?
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Senior Manager/ Director on ad-hoc primary research projects, making recommendations on research design and ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
Mentor and support the team Apprentice to ensure they develop a solid-research understanding and deliver a high performance
Use in-depth research expertise and sector knowledge to recommend improvements to research processes to ensure best practice
Generate actionable insights across EMEA markets using all quantitative/ qualitative data available
Use insight analysis to help benchmark, corroborate and inform franchise and audience performance and strategies to optimise engagement
Demonstrate pro-activity in supporting line of business (especially BD) to deliver actionable insights for strategic purposes and for partner and pitch presentations across EMEA
Keep up to date with the competitive environment and market intelligence, particularly in areas that impact media and entertainment
Experience required:
Proven experience of analytical and market research techniques, Agency background preferred
Knowledge and strong experience of statistical tools e.g. Survey Reporter, TGI etc
Experience presenting strategic insights to senior level stakeholders
Capable of creating a narrative with actionable recommendations from research data and insights
Excellent stakeholder management across multiple functions and with third party providers
Advanced skills in Survey Reporter or similar research analytic tools especially Excel and PowerPoint
Strong understanding of both primary and secondary information sources and a creative approach which recognises the importance of both formal and informal research data
Excellent analytic & numerical skills
Strong ability to build clear insight from analysis & presentation of research data from a variety of sources including in-house data, industry sources, & current secondary research data
If you have experience examining issues from a broad perspective, considering impact beyond immediate scope, a strong ability to deal with the needs of diverse stakeholders. Can develop appropriate metrics to assess business performance and can tailor messaging appropriately to a global audience, then I'd love to hear from you!
