Position Title: Head Chef

This role is offering a package of up to £60K (DOE).
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head Chef to lead the culinary operations for our client who are opening a new townhouse. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for culinary excellence, a strong understanding of various cuisines, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences. This role is responsible for menu development, kitchen management, and ensuring the highest quality standards in food preparation and presentation.
This multi-level site has the Mediterranean restaurant, a Vermouth bar and event space.

Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.

Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Monitor inventory levels and manage food costs to meet budgetary requirements.

Food Preparation and Presentation:

Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards, with attention to detail in taste and presentation.

Stay updated with culinary trends and incorporate them into the menu.

Collaboration and Communication:

Working with the Owner to align culinary offerings with the overall vision and strategy of the townhouse.

Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors to source the best ingredients.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in an individual restaurant or similar establishment.
